My array of items include Crosses, Potted Plant Stakes, Year-Round Garden/Yard Art Fused Glass Flowers, Bowl/Platters, Ornaments, Votive/Candle Holders, Drink Swizzle Sticks, Business Card Holders, Soap Dishes, Comfort Pocket Hearts, Landscape Fused Art, Wearable Art, etc.
Fused Glass is glass that is taken from its flat "cold" state and manipulated in a hot glass kiln, with temperatures ranging from 1000 to 1500 degrees in order to mold the glass into various shapes and sizes depending on the outcome of the piece desired. For instance, you can keep the glass flat or transform it into a vessel such as a vase, bowl, platter, soap dish, etc. Fired glass can take anywhere from 5 to 12 hours in the kiln, before the kiln can be opened to see the outcome of the project.
My work has been sold in local Virginia gift shops and shipped all over the United States as well as to England and Thailand. I have done commissioned pieces as well.
